Family Weekend is an excellent opportunity for families to spend time with their students, visit campus and fully take part in the Mizzou Student Experience. No formal agenda is set for Family Weekend, however, there are events for families with a variety of interests. We encourage you to attend as many events as possible and to enjoy a great weekend at MIZZOU!

The Office of Parent Relations is able to sell a very limited quantity of discounted tickets on a first-come first-served basis for the September 20th Missouri vs. Indiana University football game. These tickets are only available through our Family Weekend registration system. Tickets will be distributed at Family Weekend Check-in on Friday and Saturday. Please see check-in details below. Tickets will not be mailed.
*Our allotment of discounted football tickets for the Family Weekend game has sold out. However, the Athletics Ticket Office is still selling tickets for the Missouri vs. Indiana football game on September 20 at the full rate. You can contact the Athletics Ticket Office to purchase tickets by calling 1-800-CAT-PAWS (1-800-228-7297) or visiting them online at http://www.mutigers.com/.
Family Weekend Check-In
Whether you have purchased tickets in advance, or simply plan to take advantage of our no-cost opportunities, your first stop should be Family Weekend Check-in, held at the following times and locations:
Friday, September 19, Noon - 7:00 p.m., MU Student Center
Saturday, September 20, 9:00 a.m. - Noon, MU Student Center
We encourage all Family Weekend participants to stop by check-in and take advantage of special activities planned throughout the day, including photos with Truman the Tiger (from 2:30 p.m. – 4:30 p.m.). Adults over 18 years of age who have registered for Family Weekend will receive an extended weekend membership to the MU Recreation Complex, generously provided by MizzouRec.
If you are unable to attend check-in, your MU student may pick up your Family Weekend packet on your behalf. A student identification card and signature will be required.
Family Weekend Check-in closes at noon on Saturday. Any football tickets not picked up by that time will be taken to the will-call area of the football stadium (North End of Faurot Field). There will be no refunds for leftover tickets or t-shirts at the conclusion of Family Weekend.
Family Weekend parking will be available at the Hitt Street Parking Garage after 12:30pm on Friday, as a courtesy of Mizzou’s Parking and Transportation Services. The Hitt Street Parking Garage is located on Hitt Street between University Avenue and Elm Street. You are welcome to park in any available space on any level of the garage except "Official Vehicle" and “Campus Mail” spots. In addition, you are always welcome to pay and park at the metered spots around campus.
Parking on Saturday is available free of charge in most of the University parking garages. Exceptions are the Tiger Avenue Parking Structure and Parking Structure #7, which both charge $25 for game day parking. Over 70,000 fans attend a Mizzou football game in and around the stadium. Please be careful walking. Please allow for extra time to park and get to the tailgate and game. A map of available parking locations is available at Mizzou Game Day.
